Under a No-Kickback Buyout Claim, the photographer pays double the initial price (e.g. $50) as an immediate upfront buyout. In return, the Model's kickback rate becomes 0%, and the photographer keeps 100% of net visual resale revenues.
How do Smart Buyout negotiations and bidding work?
If a photographer has claimed a visual under Standard terms and now wishes to obtain exclusive direct buyout ownership, they can submit a custom buyout bid directly through their claimed dashboard. Models receive the active bid in their workspace, where they can instantly accept or decline the bid, upgrading the licensing and payout rules seamlessly in Stripe and the registry.
